ABOUT US
At SOLMAX, we believe that installing solar panels is only the beginning — protecting and maintaining that investment is what truly delivers long-term value.

Matt Tipler
Managing Director
Having worked across both residential and large-scale commercial solar installations for the past six years, I’ve seen first-hand the importance of proper solar panel maintenance, and how often it gets overlooked.
Time and time again, I came across systems that had been heavily affected by dirt, debris, organic build-up and poor maintenance practices, leading to unnecessary performance loss and reduced energy generation.
For many homeowners and businesses, that lost generation directly impacts the return they receive from what is often a significant financial investment.
That’s ultimately why I started SOLMAX.
I wanted to create a specialist service focused entirely on the proper care, maintenance and long-term performance of solar PV systems — not as an add-on service, but as a dedicated area of expertise.
I firmly believe that if you invest thousands into a solar installation, you should expect it to perform at its very best for as long as possible.
Professional maintenance plays a major role in making sure that happens.
MORE THAN JUST CLEANING
At SOLMAX, we don’t approach solar panels like general exterior cleaning.
Solar systems are high-value technical assets that require the correct equipment, safe working practices and a careful, considered approach.
That’s why we use specialist pure-water cleaning systems, non-abrasive methods and detailed inspection processes designed specifically for solar panels.
Every system is treated with care, precision and attention to detail — because protecting long-term system performance is the priority.
Passionate About Solar
We care deeply about renewable energy and strongly believe solar power should be accessible to as many people as possible.
Solar technology has the potential to reduce energy costs, increase energy independence and contribute to a more sustainable future — but only when systems are properly maintained and allowed to operate efficiently.
Part of our goal with SOLMAX is not only to provide a professional service, but also to help educate people on the importance of maintaining their solar systems correctly.
Many owners simply don’t realise that neglected panels can quietly lose performance over time, or that improper cleaning methods can actually risk damaging the system they’ve invested in.
With the right care and maintenance, solar panels can continue performing efficiently for many years beyond expectations.
BUILT ON TRUST
Inviting someone to work on your roof and maintain a valuable solar asset is not a small thing — and trust matters.
At SOLMAX, we place huge importance on:
-
professionalism
-
reliability
-
communication
-
safety
-
and respect for your property
From the initial inspection through to the final clean, every job is approached with the same level of care and attention I would expect on my own home.
The aim is simple:
to provide a service customers feel confident recommending and comfortable returning to year after year.
